After waiting almost a month since ordering the long-sought Gundam Color spraypaints, I contacted the seller yesterday to ascertain the fate of my precious parcel. Although the paints were shipped out fairly promptly after my order was received, apparently the Hong Kong Post only just yesterday passed the package on, and I may be waiting up to another couple weeks before it arrives here. It's been nearly three years, so waiting another week or two is no bother.

However, this does mean there will be something of a lull before things pick up again when I can get cracking on the Zaku cannon type. In the meantime, substantial posts may be a bit sparse, but have no fear. I'm still around.

2011.07.15 20:35New Mobile Report Google+

Despite my habit of keeping myself secluded and wrapped in secrecy, I've joined Google+ and am enjoying this new-fangled social networking thing so far.

If you're already onboard the Google+ field trial, feel free to find me. I've created a Circle just for Gundam-related connections, and I'd be pleased to populate it with my dear readers. If you'd like an invite, I'm happy to oblige. Leave a comment here or get in touch and I'll get you the hookup.

Meanwhile, rest assured that I've got a picture ready for today, and your regularly scheduled installment of Char in the Office will be along later this evening.

Happy Friday.

2011.07.09 00:24This Is My BOOMSTICK

During a busy day at work I neglected to take this week's Char in the office picture. To make it up to you, I've posted the new photos of the Unicorn Gundam's fancy schmancy hyper bazooka.

Only the awe-inspiring beam magnum remains before my first model in three years is completely complete. From there, onward and upward.

Happy Friday.

The Red Comet finishes his kick, but keeps his eye and Zaku machinegun trained on the downed foe. Even if you're only practicing fighting off imagined opponents, your effort is a waste if you lose focus before seeing things through completely.

Happy Friday, and for my American readers, enjoy patriotically blowing stuff up on Monday.
